    Candace Christe - Office Manager

Candace was born and raised in a small-town Poplar Bluff, Missouri. You may know it from the TV show Designing Women. Once she turned 18 she moved to Jacksonville, Florida with great expectations. After a few bumps and starts she had a career in advertising sales for the local newspaper and then the weekly business publication. Later, her best friend got engaged and was moving to Greenville, South Carolina. She spoke so highly of the town that Candace was prompted to visit. Once there in 2004 she took in the developing downtown area; experienced the great weather and met wonderful people. She was hooked. Goodbye Jacksonville – hello Greenville!

She lived in Greenville for 10 years and then met her soul mate, got engaged and moved to Waterloo, South Carolina in a house on Lake Greenwood. In her spare time, she likes to go boating, read a good book, fish, hike in the mountains and just sit on her deck with her beau and pets, admiring the lake view.

Cynthia Waddell - Customer Service Representative

Cynthia is a native of the upstate and graduate of Greenville Technical College and brings to us a history of operations, customer service and sales support across a variety of industries. She grew up just off the picturesque town square in Laurens, and her childhood home was the Word house where President Andrew Johnson boarded while working as a tailor’s apprentice. Like many of us, she has watched the upstate transform into the vibrant commerce center it has it has become. She loves gardening, but now living a minimalist lifestyle in downtown Greenville, she calls Falls Park her “back yard” and someone else does the gardening.

Through community organizations and volunteerism, she stays connected to both the Greenville and Laurens communities. She serves as an ambassador to the city through her role as driver and docent with Hop In Greenville, and she enjoys volunteering at Red Ribbon Resale where hugs are free! She also works on game nights at the Greenville Drive as a guest services staff member. She enjoys biking, walking and relaxing on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. She is a Main Street Laurens volunteer and a Friend of the Laurens County Museum. Her greatest accomplishment--she has raised two self-sufficient, independent daughters who teach her something new about life and humanity on a regular basis.
