Do I have glass coverage on my policy? Will it cost me anything to get my glass repaired or replaced?
If you carry full or comprehensive insurance in SC, you have glass coverage. South Carolina state law requires all auto insurance companies to waive your deductible for auto glass repair and replacement. What is the state law that waives my deductible in South Carolina?
SC Code Section 38-77-280 (B): Any automobile physical damage insurance coverage deductible or policy deductible does not apply to automobile safety glass.

How long does a windshield repair or replacement take?
In general, a windshield replacement takes between 45 minutes to one hour. Because we use one of the fastest curing urethanes in the industry, you can usually drive within 15-30 minutes after our technician finishes the job. Windshield repairs can take between 15-30 minutes.

How long before I can drive?
Between 15-30 minutes for a windshield replacement, immediately for a windshield repair. Our technician will let you know if it's necessary to wait longer on your particular vehicle.

Does a windshield repair cause the damage to disappear?
Windshield repair restores the integrity of the auto glass and improves the appearance of the damage. Its main purpose is to keep the damage from turning into an even larger crack. It's very rare for a chip to disappear, which is why we recommend replacing the windshield if the damage is in your line-of-view.
