File an Insurance Claim for Your Auto Glass

1. Your current policy # for the vehicle with the damaged glass.

2. The date when the damage occurred. Your insurance company will only cover rock windshield damage that occurred while you were insured with them (in other words, while your policy was effective).

3. If you don't know the exact date, it is okay to estimate. But they will need an actual day, month, and year in order to create a claim.

4. You will also need to know what company you'd like to use to replace or repair your windshield. Oftentimes it is easiest to give them the company phone number rather than trying to look up a name. Since we'd like to be your company of choice, here is our phone number: (864) 641-3190

Once you have gathered all that information, find your insurance company in the list below. Only the most common are listed. Some will only have phone numbers, but for any of them that have special things to consider we have added extra notes. This is not a comprehensive list, and if you have any question about your particular insurance company, please call us! You will also see the glass network to the right side of any insurance company it is applicable for. This is a large company that handles claims for multiple insurance companies.    This insurance company is not very efficient at glass claims. They may send you a Driver Report Form that you will have to fill out in order to have your auto glass replaced. You will no doubt have to follow up many times in order to actually get approval. After filing the initial claim, be sure to let us know so we can follow up with Access as well.
